To install the extension, the workaround I used:Īnd then I can run normally with the extension installed. Note: I was prompted for the root password during extension install/uninstall. Restarted VirtualBox and tried to install the extension 4.0.2 and I got the same error,
So I could have left it as is, but I uninstalled the extension (Version 4.0.0). I was able to bring up one of my virtual machines that uses usb, and it worked, When I run VirtualBox I saw that the 4.0.0 extension was still installed. Installed VirtualBox-4.0.2, install went normally. Problem still persists, this is what I did:
